Introduction

Personally, I prefer to install using the official method, so the mirrors I provide below are all official mirrors. The ISO mirror includes instructions for installing on a Mac, but I have never tested if it works. The download links are located at the bottom under ‘Mirror Software’. The Everlook.org server is located in France, Europe, so you will need to prepare an accelerator yourself, otherwise there will be around 360ms latency. Install World of Warcraft 1.12.1 Game Client (Chinese Version)

Download the Chinese version installer and 2 patch files (or the English version)
Install the main program (it’s quite slow, but… it’s the original taste, it feels like installing the game for the first time)
Installation complete

Install 2 Patches

Install the 2 patches, first install the larger one ‘WoW-1.12.0-zhCN-patch.exe’ and then install the smaller one ‘WoW-1.12.0.5595-to-1.12.1.5875-zhCN-patch.exe’

Change the Server Address

Open the installation directory of World of Warcraft and find ‘realmlist.wtf’. Use Notepad to edit it and change it to

1	set realmlist logon.everlook.org

Let’s start playing the game

Double click ‘wow.exe’ to start the game (you can remove the desktop icon and place ‘wow.exe’ on the desktop), the username is the one you registered with, and the password is the one you registered with
